Training, how hard should it be?

Ok, so here goes

Alot of people ask me how hard should I work, how difficult should my sessions be.

Truth be told you will not bring about enough change if you dont get out of your comfort zone and be uncomfortable when training.

Training, getting lean, been in shape, ripped and (for the love of god TONED 👈🏻literally despise this term!)

The sessions we do must take us away from our comfort zone both physically and mentally.

The structure I use is there for a few reasons.

It monitors progressions, its provides the conditioning relevant to the clients goal. So these take care of the physical side of things.

Something thats often overlooked is the mentality side of things. I am always conscious and aware that when someone starts with me I anticipate the chances that I am going to be assisting their mentality. Something that people forget all the time when chasing that glorious physique.

Im not out to get you or destroy someones mentality ever, chances are it will be tested, it will be diminished but its going to come back bigger and better. I never give any exercises to someone unless i believe they are ready and able to handle them.

Question time, ask yourself

If I have that much belief in you and i barely know you, then why don’t you believe in yourself?

Yes sessions are going to be tough, they need to be. The training stimulus and the new structure is going to test you. You may not be able to sit down without pain or straighten your arms after the first exposures to new new phases and workouts but the body is an amazing machine and it will adjust!!

Take it easy people, and thank you for the questions. Keep them coming and I will answer as quick as possible!!
