Blog 56 Motivation

Not this topic again hey!!

Well, I got asked the other day by two clients similar questions.

1, What drives you to do what you do?

2, Why on earth do you put your body through so much?

The answers were straight forward. Now my reason for wanting to get in shape and look after myself was simple, to be able to make the most of my time with my son and to do all the energetic things I can with him.

The second question has a little stranger when it comes to answer. The truth is I am unhappy if I am not hurting during my sessions. If my lungs aren’t burning, if my muscles don’t feel like they aren’t tearing, if I feel like Im going to complete a number of reps I’m going to be pissed.

The second part to that answer is, Im at the stage where normal training for me can become quite monotonous and quite boring. Lucky for me my Coach understands my needs. I want to hurt, i want to be stronger, and I want to be happier in my skin. The aim is still 10-15 % body fat all year round, and boy are we getting there.

Short blog today as Its the first one back and I’m aware some of them were getting quite long.

Moral of this blog though, was to present you with the idea of ensuring that the goal you have set yourself has a real significant meaning to it. That way theres less chance of it beating you
