Blog 61
If you have been following my blogs from day one you potentially encountered the one titled HENRY week.
Basically it stipulated that I had to find my feet and re adjust my routine as quick and seamlessly as possible to ensure I made progress that week.
Since then Ive endured and enjoyed two more HENRY weeks but the worst week was completed unrelated to him. I have been stressed to the hilt with regards to participating and completing the workouts and eBook content for Busybee.Carys which releases this coming Monday.
I haven’t felt this stretched in a long time, this tired, or busy. Ive had deadlines to get things done, Ive helped out and assisted BusyBee in all the videos which we decided to include last minute to ensure that there exercises in the programming was clear and also to ensure that we provided absolutely everything we felt we should for the price. At one point I didn’t feel I was going forward or getting anything done.
Long story short, now that my part is done (finished Thursday last week) I was able to take a big deep breathe and calm my mind right the way down again (THANK CHRIST!) On top of that I finally managed to break the 83 kg mark whilst on 2200 calories on high days and 1800 on low days. I still managed to get my training in which was a new phase (Clusters – which when done right absolute floor you!!)
But I have no doubt in my mind that everything Ive been through and done up to this point when going through the re adjust when I experienced HENRY weeks helped me tenfold!
Now that Ive come out the other side I now realise that I love having time pressures, I love having a task which I actively have to complete, and to top everything off my time management has improved enormously. Its literally helped me feel alive again. The issue is I had to go through it all and then analyse afterwards whether I had done oho and how I had performed. This is very similar for everything we do in life. Its all about trial and error and then compensating and ensuring you try new things to challenge and set better and higher standards.
