Would I ever assign them to a client? Unless they told me they trained 8-9 hours a day 7 days a week and ate 5000 calories then no.
Everyday life this is unsustainable and not the most efficient use of time. We have a limited time on this earth and I don’t want to be hated for saying gym for this length of time everyday.
Every client I start with regardless of training age goes through a structural balance phase with quite a bit of volume with Tempos with pauses when the body is at the muscles are at the weakest position.
This combined with the overall tempo gives a huge burn when done right but also places so much stress on the muscle and causes so much micro trauma theres no way strength is not gained!
During this phase it always gives me the opportunity to see how well my client moves, holds their body and any postural imbalances I need to be wary of. By the time the first and second phase is over, 42 days approx then at this point, some of the postural imbalances are going to have evened up. Strength is going to have evened out between sides, training regime has become consistent and habit, and the nightmare fog of calories has begun to clear and we are starting to get a picture of what to do next.
