Blog 55 Opinions
I am all for opinions I honestly am. However, if you aren’t willing to listen and discuss each others opinions and your of such a narrow mind then they are probably best kept unspoken.
In the army the popular saying was opinions are like arseholes everyone has one.
Opinions are brilliant, They promote you to formulate an argument either for or against, but in order to formulate said opinion you need to research, expose yourself too more knowledge, different methods, different methodologies. If you are not then you are missing out on so much more to life.
There are so many different ways to skin a cat. Everyone has their preferred method, mine is tempo and Time under tension. Im not a fan of long arduous cardio unless thats your thing and you run marathons and triathlons.
100% of my client base come to me for weight loss (body fat loss) strength gains and muscle mass. None as of yet want to run or do long hard cardio. Now, I understand cardio may and probably will be needed at some point (depending on their NEAT and their calories I set them to) but everyone has a different way to approach it. Some people like to go balls out some people like to not overly stress their already stressed lives. How much would hard, arduous cardio assist me with get my clients more muscle mass? Sure in the legs, due to law of repeated efforts but still they are only ever going to put the same and a deceasing amount of weight through their legs so therefore theres only so strong they can get.
Everything in this PT world is about moderation, control, calories and tracking, training consistently and enjoying what you are doing.
P.S just in case someone has given me grief via their opinion about my previous post about Mr Wicks, great opinion, now heres mine. Get off my page : P
