Blog 70 Are you actually Ready?

Now I feel like I’m going back over trodden ground here. Im sure in earlier blogs Ive discussed though so

I guess this is more of a gentle nudge to aid remind people.

I am a Coach. People approach me and pay me to write strength training programmes bespoke to them and nutrition guidance (not food plans or menus) to help assist said programming all tailored to their goal.

I have paid god knows how much educating myself and will continue to do so in order to present the best and most safe and effective ways to help people.

BUT…

somethings thats happened increasingly more of late is once I’ve sent the relevant instructions and plans I get questions back if not in twenty minutes but by the next afternoon for sure. By the next afternoon that means they haven’t even got to Lower carbohydrate day (not lower calorie day)

and they will read something like this.

“I think I’m going to struggle on Cardio days when 50g of carbs is the limit o and I won’t be able to eat that much protein?”

O and 10,000 steps really, you want me to do that each day?

A couple of things here,

One, I’m pretty sure you came to me to ask for advice and help

Two, you have paid me, hopefully because you have heard good things about me and you have done your research.

So if thats the case and you then make these statements, truth be told I actually would recommend a psychologist. Because you have said you don’t know what to do hence why you have searched out and hired a professional but then you have presented more barriers than a blockade at a festival in order to challenge what needs to be done!

The positive about this though is that it reminds me my Anger management counselling has worked! lol : P

Essentially, what this boils down to is, if you are seeking out a professional, and you claim you want to change then take a hard look in the mirror and trust in the process. It will go a lot quicker and a lot smoother without any more barriers.
